Looks like Berkeley Real Estate will be strong this year!

Looks like Berkeley Real Estate will be strong this year… along with Rockridge, Montclair, El Cerrito… and other wonderful East Bay Neighborhoods!

We put two Berkeley properties on the market in December – not typically a strong time of the year.. and each home sold for way over asking price with multiple offers!

Last night we negotiated two excellent offers, and ironed out details so a third one will be closing tomorrow.

Many of my friends from all over the United States are reporting sales and prices way down… we’re fortunate to not be in that kind of market!

I was honored with an invitation to speak at the 2007 annual Certified Residential Specialist convention in Las Vegas (thank you Howard Brinton and Amy Stoehr and to Randy Eager) and am delighted to have the opportunity to network with the best agents in the business. I’ll bring back some excellent ideas on how to better represent our Buyers and Sellers.

There are now over 1.3 million real estate agents in the United States. Only 3% of them have passed the rigorous training and coursework to be Certified as Residential Specialists. We’re delighted to be networking with the most highly qualified Realtors in the United States!
